WPWriter uses third-party AI providers to generate text content and images based on your instructions. We operate a bring-your-own-key (BYOK) model: you provide your own API key for the AI provider of your choice — OpenAI (GPT), Anthropic (Claude), or Google (Gemini) — and AI requests are made using your key. Two exceptions run on our own provider keys: the free trial for users who have not added a key, and the paid AI Image Pack; those requests carry your instructions but no key of yours.
